ISTORIC

   Catedra de Psihologie Medicală a UMF Carol Davila - Bucureşti a fost fondată în anul 1994. În prezent ea este formată din opt membri, prof. dr. Ioan Bradu Iamandescu, lector univ. dr. Ovidiu Popa-Velea, asist. univ. drd. Liliana Diaconescu, asist. univ. drd. Ioana Cioca, asist. univ. drd. Aurora Frunză, asist.univ.drd. Alexandra Mihăilescu, asist.univ.dr.Mihaela Staicu şi preparator drd. Mihaela Cuţov).
   Interesul general al catedrei noastre este îndreptat spre efectele psihopatologice ale stressului psihic şi psihotraumatismelor asupra sănătăţii. Câteva obiective prioritare de studiu le constituie calitatea vieţii şi tulburările  personalităţii pacienţilor având diferite boli somatice cu o contribuţie importantă a factorului psihic (tulburări şi boli psihosomatice), precum şi aspectele de ordin psihologic ale relaţiei medic-pacient.

   Preocupările de ordin didactic asigură pregătirea în domeniul Psihologiei Medicale / Medicinii Comportamentale pentru studenţii Universităţii de Medicină şi Farmacie "Carol Davila". Cursurile sunt susţinute în limbile română şi engleză.
   Preocupările de ordin ştiinţific cuprind cercetări în domeniul Psihoneuroalergologiei (premieră pe plan internaţional), psihosomaticii, complianţei terapeutice, calităţii vieţii, muzicoterapiei şi alte tematici variate (a se vedea secţiunea corespunzătoare).

    HISTORY

   The Chair of Medical Psychology and Psychosomatics at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Bucharest was founded in 1994. Currently, the staff includes eight members: prof. dr. Ioan Bradu Iamandescu, lecturer dr. Ovidiu Popa-Velea, TA drd. Liliana Diaconescu, TA drd. Ioana Cioca, TA drd. Aurora Frunză, TA drd. Alexandra Mihăilescu, TA dr. Mihaela Staicu and demonstrator drd. Mihaela Cuţov).

   The current didactic objectives are the training in Health Psychology/ Behavioral Medicine for students of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest or graduates in medicine and psychology from Romania and abroad. The courses are held in Romanian and English.

    The scientific research performed by our team covers several topics of high interest, such as the psychopathological effects of psychic stress and psychotraumas on health, changes in the quality of life at patients having various psychosomatic diseases, modalities of improving the doctor-patient relationship, therapeutical adherence, music therapy and psychoneuroallergology (see the corresponding section).
